“This shawl is worked in two steps.
The main part of it is a wide zigzag panel, which is worked sideways.
The stitches for the shawl center are picked up along the top edge of zigzag stripe.
Techniques used - decreases, increases, short rows, and garter. You must be comfortable with all of the above to knit it.”

Note 1: We slightly altered the amount of required yarn on the pattern page. Please check the notes for the sample displayed above.
There will be about 32 grams left of the main color after knitting the rays portion of the shawl, and only about 4 grams left after knitting the center portion. About 12 grams of the blue and 40 grams of the orange yarns as pictured will be left over when the shawl is complete.
The I-cord edge is only along the top of the center half circle, not the entire shawl edge.
Please note that the CDD st may also be worked as "slip 1 knitwise, slip 1 knitwise, k1, p2so"
Sunshine uses 3 or 4 skeins of Harvest Fingering or Monokrom Fingering
