"Passion without urgency loses its fire.
I have been obsessed with colors & textures my entire life. As a child, I would run water over magic markers to create tie-dye on paper towels. I hand-paint all my furniture funky colors. I once gave a speech about how important it is to paint your walls anything but white or tan. I feel as if pink is my natural hair-color. My obsession with colors has now led me to learn how to dye yarn.
For me, dyeing yarn is reminiscent of my magic marker experiments from when I was a child. Going back to this mindset is freeing. We all must let our inner child come back into the present. With that said, I want you to know that MaeMaeFibers is a work of love & passion infused with excitement.
