Summer Fiber Camp
This year Stash will be holding Summer Fiber Camp for children aged 8-13. Each week will focus on a different fiber related craft.
Melissa Wykell is a veteran art teacher who began her career teaching at Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School. She is also owner of Honey Bee Clay Co. As a ceramic artist, Melissa creates functional works of craft art. She is also an avid knitter whose favorite item to knit are socks, reflecting her love of the functional. Kristin Lohr is the owner at Stash-A Place For Yarn. Besides being an avid knitter and crocheter she has experimented with many other fiber crafts. Kristin has taught knitting and crocheting at Stash since it opened in 2014. She also taught these crafts at the City of Largo's Summer Camp.
The cost for one week of class, Monday-Friday 9am-1pm, is $100 + $25 materials fee. 10% discount off the class fee for multiple weeks or multiple children from one family attending.
